Last week some coworkers and I had Aurora's pizza for lunch when our boss ordered it to be part of a coworker's birthday celebration. What a delicious treat! The pepperoni had the perfect amount of cheese. The veggie slice was filling. And the crust was tasty too! Def plan to stop in the restaurant sometime.

Stopped at this place for a quick lunch. Quaint charming restaurant. Terrific service and honestly the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Highly recommend!

To start off, the ambience and view are both amazing and go hand in hand with each other. The service throughout our experience was consistent and great. And the food!! The taste was amazing, the portions are great, and it's reasonably priced.

We ate here on Friday evening. The food was excellent and the service was divine. When we ordered dessert, my friend couldn't stop talking about the vanilla bean pudding she ordered. She said it was the best vanilla pudding she had ever tasted. Now I want to call them and ask if they'll share the recipe with us. We walked from our rented air b&B which was nice.

We stopped at Aurora for lunch on our way back from a visit to Muir Woods. Aurora is situated on the way into Sausalito and there's street parking, which makes it easier to avoid the crowds closer to the water. This is a big plus in my book. Ambiance and Service: The interior of Aurora is lined by massive windows with nice views of Sausalito (but not of the water, unfortunately). I was pleased when the host, who was also acting as a server, bartender, and barista, sat us at table in the corner with the best view. He was juggling a few tables at the same time by himself, but we never felt neglected. The interior walls and linens are light which contrasts nicely with the wooden floors, tables, and the dark-colored bar. Food: After our hike at Muir Woods, I was ravenous. Fortunately, the food at Aurora was quite good. I ordered the salmon alla siciliana (think capers, basil, and tomato sauce). The salmon was excellent -- perfectly cooked and the tomatoey sauce complimented it well. Accompanying the salmon were mashed potatoes and pan-roasted zucchini, broccoli, and carrots. The veggies, which were surprisingly good, were cooked al dente and with just the right amount of salt and butter. This dish made my hangry heart happy. My partner opted for the house made pappardelle with bolognese. He shared a taste with me -- it was comforting and meaty and everything you want in a bolognese. He completely cleared his plate, which I firmly believe speaks volumes about a dish. My mother-in-law did not have much of an appetite, so she ordered and finished the proscuitto-wrapped cantaloupe. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by our visit to Aurora. I'd absolutely recommend a visit if you are in Sausalito, particularly if you are looking to avoid the regular tourists traps by the water in Sausalito.

Great food, good view. Nice find Would recommend if you ride the ferry over Margarita pizza was delicious

El plato de NY steak estaba suave y con una rica salsa de champiñones. Great NY steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Appetizers like cheesy bread, calamari and carpaccio went well with a classic Chianti! Our table of 10 enjoyed the ravioli, pasta, gnocchi, pizza and apple pie a la mode too. However, two in our group wanted spaghetti and meatballs, but no! They only serve it with two other items, no bueno. Why not? Good service from Erick, clean bathrooms, street parking and some view.

Calamari Fritti 5 fried, super crispy, fresh, juicy, chewy, marinara sauce Turkey 3 tender, juicy, not dry, plain steamed vegetables, plain mashed potatoes, stuffing just crouton, not flavorful, gravy not flavorful Ravioli di Gamberi (Prawns Ravioli) 4 triple sec sage, cream sauce, cherry tomatoes, super creamy, not too soft, juicy filling

This is our favorite place. And they are keeping up the food quality and service. We ordered: 1. Margherita Pizza 2. Gnocchi 3. Egg plant parmigiana 4. Fettuccini Chicken 5 and drinks. Everything was cooked to perfection. Quiet and comfortable ambiance - that gives you comfort and at the same time is clean and comfortable.

First time at this restaurant very nice experience. Had a long day with a group of friends from a hike and beach day so we were hungry. Very good service and food. Definitely nice ambience with great views to outside. Lighting was low but had these very unique table lights to provide lighting onto the table without over powering.. any way we got different dishes ravioli, spaghetti calamari. Sounded like everyone pretty much enjoyed just overheard some dishes were spicy and they didn't expect that. I got the ravioli polio very creamy soft and nice amount of spices/veggies mixed in. Definitely recommend.
